Let the adventure begin
Day 1 - Get here and Relax
You are whisked by private shuttle to our villa and spend the rest of the day relaxing and settling in before a welcome dinner and a review of your upcoming adventure.
Day 2 - Take a Hike
Today, you start out with a walk in the Tirino Valley following the clear blue waters of the cleanest river in Italy to the village of Capestrano and back. Stop for a picnic lunch along the way, and have a beer at local bar when you are done. 5 to 6 hours, running shoes, moderate mobility.
Day 3 - Bike the Coast
A guided bike or ebike tour of Abruzzo’s Adriatic Coast featuring unique fishing platforms called Trabocchi, beautiful beaches and a great fish lunch on a Trabocco above the waves. 6 hours. Easy mobility. Running shoes.
Day 4 - Cool Fort and Wine
Hike to ancient fort high in mountains from a beautiful medieval village and back. Check our the views for miles and miles. Have lunch in a local restaurant. 8 hours. Hiking shoes. Medium to hard mobility.
Day 5 - Local Market, Wine Lunch, Ceramics Artist
Take your foot of the gas and visit a local Market, have lunch at a great local winery, and drop in on a ceramics artist on the way home. 7 hours. Easy.
Day 6 - Bike the high plains with Giulia
Today, you head up to the plains of Campo Imperartore at over 2000 metres above sea level and meet up with our expert mountain bike guide Giulia “The Rebel”. She will take you for a 20-kilometre, mostly downhill, ride on a mountain bike or ebike. See a famous canyon, and have lunch at a grill your own meats BBQ joint. 8 hours. Running shoes. Medium difficulty.
Day 7 - Heart of Abruzzo hike and big Lunch
Hike up above Lago di Scanno to a lookout and see the Heart of Abruzzo. Hike to the town of Villalago, then down to San Domenico Lake where a huge lunch will be waiting. 7 hours. 7 kilometres. Hiking shoes. Medium difficulty.
Day 8 - Ciao Bella Ciao
After a good-bye dinner in our cantina the night before, you are whisked to Rome or Pescara via private shuttle.
